Banjo Minnow Review
There are many types of artificial lure available in the market, and many advertisements claim that they really catch fish. Sadly, not all catch fish as well as the infomercials claim. I have tried some of them, and they don’t really have life-like movements and features. Some look real, but they don’t swim like a real fish. The fishes I wanted to catch didn’t notice the bait at all, or if they did notice the bait, they weren’t too interested to bite it. In my personal experience there’s only one artificial bait that has worked really well, and that’s Banjo Minnow.
Banjo Minnow is really effective because it looks like a real minnow. Its scales are made up of iridescent foil, and it comes in six colors. Its movements are realistic as well. It has two swimming cuts in its body so it can mimic a minnow better. Normally, I don’t catch enough fishes to fill a bucket, but when I first tried fishing with Banjo Minnow I managed to catch a bucket of bass in a short amount of time. The fishes really notice the Banjo Minnow, thinking that it’s a real injured minnow because of its movements. Even if the fishes are not hungry they instinctively go after the Banjo Minnow.
What I like most about Banjo Minnow is that I can control the movements of my bait. I can choose to make it swim slower as if it’s injured and I can choose to make it swim faster to make the fish bite on it. That way I can try it out with the fish and try to see how fast they will chase and bite the lure. And it’s so easy to control. I didn’t need to make complicated hand movements to get it moving.
There’s an instructional DVD that comes with the package once you purchase Banjo Minnow, and it teaches you how to fish using the bait. Make sure that you watch this first, or at least read the instructional pamphlet first, before you start fishing. You will also get 30 minnows in three sizes, along with two glow-in-the-dark minnows that you can use at night. I haven’t tried the glow-in-the-dark minnows yet, but I have friends who were able to catch walleyes at dusk.
If you’re looking for the perfect artificial bait, I definitely recommend the Banjo Minnow. It’s one of those few artificial lures that actually work just as the infomercial said it would.
