Cabin Cuddler Review

As a frequent traveler, I’ve been on a lot of airplanes. One of the things that I don’t like about airplanes is I never really feel comfortable enough to sleep, even if I’m traveling first class. Sure, they can have great service, but it’s just not enough to satisfy me as a passenger. Probably a good reason why I never feel comfortable enough and warm enough in airplanes is that those blankets that airlines provide to their passengers aren’t enough to make me feel warm. When I’m on a plane I often had to wear a jacket and then wrap the blanket around me to feel warm.

Jim Levings, an airplane captain, observed the same thing every time he checked on his passengers, and so he decided to make a special blanket called the Cabin Cuddler. The Cabin Cuddler is lightweight, portable, and washable—definitely the best blanket for travel. It’s not strictly for airplanes, it could be used even on long train or bus rides. Basically, it’s not like your normal blanket that has a rectangular shape. It’s perfectly cut to make sure your whole body is covered, and it even has a pocket for your feet. It comes in a compact package that you can put on your handheld bag or luggage. It also comes with an inflatable pillow just in case your plane doesn’t provide you with a pillow.

What I love about the Cabin Cuddler is that it’s well thought of. The whole idea behind it, the design, everything was considered carefully. When you have a normal blanket you always worry about getting cold in the middle of the night because the blanket might slip off. And if you move a lot when you’re sleeping, especially when you’re in a plane, there really is a big possibility your blanket will slip off of you. But the Cabin Cuddler is designed especially for travelers who have to sleep while sitting up, so it won’t simple slip off.

There’s a way to unfold it—it’s described in the instruction paper that comes with the package—and then there’s a way to wrap it around you. And for the small inflatable pillow, there’s a small pouch for that. You just put it in there, and you can make sure that you won’t lose your pillow when you’re sleeping. The Cabin Cuddler is also made up of very warm, very soft fabric. It’s definitely comfortable and it will keep you asleep in your seat.

For other travelers out there who have been having troubles sleeping when they’re traveling, try the Cabin Cuddler. It worked for me, and now I even use it when I’m just staying at home.
