One of the green products that I’ve just purchased is called the Eco Canteen. So what’s the Eco Canteen? It’s an alternative to plastic water bottles. Everybody knows that plastics aren’t really good for our health and the environment. It’s not biodegradable, meaning it’s not made of organic materials that decay, and it can only be recycled after use. For those who are tired of buying plastic bottles that can be bad for the environment, Eco Canteen is a good alternative.

Eco Canteen is made of lightweight stainless steel, so you can put it in your dishwasher. It also has a wide opening, so you don’t have to put the whole bottle in your freezer just to make ice cold water; you can just put whole ice cubes in the Eco Canteen. Eco Canteen can be used in picnics, in exercise workouts, in trips, or in the office. It’s safe to use, it’s durable, and it doesn’t leak because its screw-on lid is tight and secured.

I love the Eco Canteen because, aside from it being eco-friendly, it’s also health-friendly. See, what I don’t like about plastic bottles is that they have Bisphenol A, which is a harmful chemical. It is a man-made chemical that can change the function of the endocrine glands. Bisphenol A is commonly found in reusable water bottles, water pipes, food can linings, and dental sealants. The Eco Canteen is made of stainless steel, so we can say it’s safe from Bisphenol A. The only plastic part of Eco Canteen is the lid, but it’s made of #5 PP plastic, which is found to be free from Bisphenol A. With Eco Canteen, you can be assured that you’re safe from any harmful chemicals.

Also, now that I have an Eco Canteen, I don’t have to buy new plastic water bottles all the time. I used to buy plastic water bottles every time I go on a trip or a picnic, but now I can save money since I use my Eco Canteen all the time. I can put cold water in my Eco Canteen, or I can put juice or tea. So as you can see, the Eco Canteen is not just good for the environment and your health, it’s also good for your budget.
