Epoxy putties and adhesives have been around for so long, that they’re really nothing new. A lot of people have been using epoxy putties for leaks in their home, for projects, and also using it for boat repairs. It’s a very useful adhesive. But what about this product called Mighty Putty? Is it just like the other typical epoxy putties?

Billy Mays has been raving about Mighty Putty, which he calls a “super powered epoxy” that “virtually fixes, fills, and seals everything.” And being the careful consumer, you want to know if he’s saying the truth. You surely do not want to buy something that’s just like the other products, right?

Mighty Putty is a putty adhesive used for household repairs. Just like the average putty, Mighty Putty can be molded like clay to fill in cracks and seal leaks. However, Mighty Putty is not your average epoxy putty. It claims it can support up to 350 lbs. of weight. It also works underwater, unlike some of the average putties that are used for household repairs.

Some adhesives actually just seal leaks for a certain time. You then have to reapply it over time. For most people, this is so troublesome. And it takes so much time. You can just get a better product that can really seal and repair leaks. Mighty Putty does just that. Mighty Putty has a hardener substance and base substance that chemically reacts when kneaded together. This then becomes the powerful epoxy that fixes, fills and seals everything.

If you want to see it for yourself, look at the green and white stuff that make up Mighty Putty. The green part on the outside is actually the hardener substance. The white stuff inside is the base substance. Mixing them together by kneading activates Mighty Putty. When Mighty Putty turns white, you know it is ready to use.

Unlike other epoxy putties, it’s easy to activate Mighty Putty. It’s not so hard like other products, nor does it dry fast if you don’t knead it quickly. It’s soft that it’s like working with clay. The problem with other products is that they are not in tubes so they dry and crack easily. Some liquid epoxies also separate the base and the hardener. Consumers still have to measure the exact amount of the components to make it work. And that can get really messy and frustrating.

Mighty Putty was developed and manufactured with the consumers specifically in mind. It is so easy to use; you just knead to activate and stick to the surface. You can use it in glass surfaces, wood, brick, cement, plastic, and you can even use it to repair a swimming pool leak underwater. You can use it as adhesives for projects, like do-it-yourself-crafts. You can also use it as a powerful epoxy putty to repair your leaking pipes and fill in the tile cracks in your kitchen and bathroom. Just imagine all the things you could repair with Mighty Putty.

Most epoxy products cost so much. Household repairs are not very cheap either. So the best solution for anyone who wants to save is Mighty Putty. It’s not like other products at all. It’s easy to use, and it works just like what Billy Mays said. It fixes, fills, and seals everything.

Mighty Putty is a powerful epoxy putty used for sealing leaks, filling cracks, and making repairs. But of course, all kinds of adhesive and epoxy claim to be powerful, doing just the kind of tricks that Mighty Putty does. And that leads us to the question, what does Mighty Putty have that other products do not have? After all, they are all epoxies, all could be found on hardware stores.

First, let us take the Mighty Putty and other adhesives comparison even further. Mighty Putty can support 350 lbs., as demonstrated by Billy Mays on the Mighty Putty infomercial. What about other adhesive products? No information or claim whatsoever. So assuming that Billy Mays was telling the truth about Mighty Putty, then we can safely say that Mighty Putty is better in terms of supporting weight.

Might Putty comes in cylinder form, with the hardener substance wrapped around the base substance. The green part of the epoxy is the hardener, and the white part is the base substance. When you mix them, it will activate and you can use it. The purpose of the cylinder is for easy storage and to prevent drying and cracking. It also makes it easier and faster to activate the epoxy putty. Other epoxy putties separate the hardener and the base, and you actually still have to measure the right amount of each component before mixing them together.

Most consumers who have tried Mighty Putty are satisfied about the way Mighty Putty is activated. They are surprised to know how easy it is to knead the product. It is not as hard as people would usually expect, and it is actually kind of similar to kneading clay. It is also pretty easy to apply. You just cut the part that you will use and start kneading. You will know when to stop kneading if the product has turned white. Once it turned white, put it on a pipe and try it.

Mighty Putty could be used for plumbing pipes, leaking roof, cracked tiles, broken mug, almost anything. Some people also use it for sealing swimming pool leaks. You can easily find something in your home that needs repair. Imagine all the money you can save just by using Magic Putty. You do not have to send for repairmen or plumbers to fix things for you.

And Magic Putty is not just for household repairs. It can also be used for projects and crafts. This epoxy putty works with wood, cement, ceramic, plastic, and more. Other epoxies are developed for industrial uses, and thus difficult to apply. Some adhesives do not work at all. They do not seal leaks properly, they fall off, or they cannot stand water pressure. You end up spending more money. And that can be disappointing for any consumer.

So when choosing an epoxy putty brand, do not just go for the cheap one that can be easily found on hardware stores. Choose the product that is easy to use, easy to apply, and works just like what the infomercials show. And that product is Mighty Putty.
