Though I love my job, one of the things I have always dreaded in the janitorial business is spills. When a spill of anything, including water happens, it’s guaranteed to cost me money. I can’t send my employees in with reusable rags because the rags take too long to ring out and I end up paying them too much for labor, so instead I have them use paper towels. The problem is that the paper towels themselves can run up a cost, even if not to the extent of the labor cost involved in wringing out rags.

This means I am able to reduce the amount of labor involved in using rags by twelve times, making it actually efficient to use reusable absorption techniques rather than disposable paper towels.

I liked my test run with the ShamWow so much that I started using it at all of my cleaning sites, and my employees love it too because they don’t have to worry about disposing of all of the paper towels.

Plus, a lot of my customers enjoy this in the “green conscious” environment we live in, and have spread the word about me as being a janitor who goes above and beyond the call of duty for the environment. They don’t realize I’m just in it for the money, but hey, every bit of good publicity is fine by me!

Effectiveness

The ShamWow is really effective in what the TV ads say it will do. I was able to clean up all of the water off of my car after I hosed it down, and it only took me a few passes. Compared to paper towels and rages, the ShamWow is way more absorbent.

Ease of Use

Usually I have to dry up spills with paper towels and rags. I have to throw the paper towels out or wring the rags with great frequency, but with ShamWow, I’m able to absorb a lot of liquid before wringing it out. ShamWow has traditional product beaten with its absorption abilities.

Warranty

A lot of “As Seen on TV” products that I see advertised have me worried that they’re simply novelty items which will break once I’ve used them a few days and the basic legally-required return period expires. The ShamWow, however, comes with a ten year warranty. I’m really confident in continuing to use my ShamWow because I know that I don’t have to use it any lighter than I see it used in the commercials, as the company stands behind it with a good warranty period.

Price

It only cost me twenty dollars for eight of the ShamWow absorbers. I don’t have to pay for paper towels, rags, sponges, or anything else now because of this. It’s saved me plenty of money, and I know I’ll have my absorption needs covered for at least ten years because of the warrant it comes with. This is a great deal!

Shamwow really works, and I know this because I’ve tried it. At first I didn’t believe it would really be as absorbent as a sponge. The Shamwow infomercial showed a towel that could wipe any surface clean and absorb any leftover liquid. I thought it was all fake, that maybe the infomercial was just exaggerating it, but I was proven wrong. I tried it on my dining table. I spilled water, spilled wine, and spilled hot chocolate on my table, just to see if Shamwow would work on different types and temperatures of liquid. It absorbed the water and wine, and it even absorbed the thick hot chocolate. Best of all, it didn’t drip. I didn’t make any mess when I used Shamwow to clean the table.

I still wasn’t completely convinced about Shamwow, so I tried washing my car with it. Once it was time to dry and polish my car, I brought out Shamwow to wipe the water away. To my surprise, it worked great! It really absorbed all that water and it didn’t make a mess. It also didn’t make any scratches on my car.

And then I started using it often, to see if it would last. Most kitchen towels and sponges that I used don’t really last long. I started using Shamwow regularly not just on spills on the table, but also on the floor and on the carpet. I used it to clean the sink. Whenever I washed my car I always used Shamwow. It still worked well after several weeks. I was really impressed. But I probably became more convinced when I washed it in my washing machine. Even when I washed it and I bleached it, it was still absorbent, and it still didn’t make any mess.

Now, I’m finally convinced with Shamwow. I have bought several Shamwow towels. I actually ordered three sets of Shamwow, so now I have Shamwow to give away to my family and friends. I use it in the kitchen, in the garage, and in the office. It’s such a great product, so I definitely recommend Shamwow.
