Nowadays it’s not just enough to lose weight to look and feel good. Some people, after losing weight, even go to great lengths to have flat, sexy abs and firm buttocks. But usually it takes a long time to develop the perfect slim body. Dancers and athletes usually have great bodies because they’ve been working out for years. So how do you exactly get the body you want without training for years?

Core Rhythms is a fitness system that was created by two professional dancers, Jaana Kunitz and Julia Powers. It uses Latin dance moves to strengthen and tone the abdominal muscles and back muscles. Since the developers are trained and award-winning dancers, they know exactly how dancing can lead to fitness. They’ve spent years dancing samba, merengue, salsa, and rumba, so they know how effective dancing is.

Of course, if you don’t have a good sense of rhythm you might find it difficult the first time, but just pay attention to the instructions and you will learn how to dance. The trick is to go slowly; you can pause and play any parts on the DVD if you’re finding it hard to follow the dance steps.

Another great thing about Core Rhythms is that you don’t need fitness equipment to get started. You don’t need to get to the gym to start losing weight. You’re dancing, and that’s just it. You don’t need any weights, any ropes, any poles, or anything. You don’t have to spend for anything else, except for the DVD, so you get to save up.

There are eight programs offered in the Core Rhythms website, one of which is a diet guide. The rest are fitness DVDs that will teach you basic and advanced dance moves. Some of the DVDs teach specific Latin dance moves, while some teach exercise moves for a stronger and toned midsection.

If you want to slim down by dancing or if you want to learn how to dance, you should definitely try the Core Rhythms System. Just make sure to consult your physician before you start working out. And if your main goal is to lose a considerable amount of weight it’s preferable if you combine the Core Rhythms with sports and regular exercise.
